Valencia CF express total confidence in current sports management
Valencia CF roundly reject stories that the Club are looking for a new sporting director for next season. The Club are not considering making a change to the sports management structure. Contrary to claims in the media this Thursday there is total confidence in the ability of the current structure and the Director of Football Miguel Ángel Corona to operate in the summer transfer market and to continue consolidating the current project.
These false stories have been published with the sole objective of creating a bad atmosphere and trying to destabilise the Club. After the Copa del Rey final, in which Valencia CF came very close to winning the trophy, the team now have five very important games ahead of them before the end of the LaLiga season, and they face them with the aim of finishing as high up the table as possible.
The season is not over yet, and the responsibility of representing this Club forces everyone to continue working and fighting until the end, for as long as there is a mathematical chance of achieving our objectives. Once the season is over, Valencia CF will face the transfer market with the current sports management, with the aim of continuing to build a competitive team of which the fans will feel proud.
